How Magic Ears Teacher Feedback & Evaluations Work
Magic Ears teachers are required to submit student evaluations after every course, which is one of the most time-consuming parts of the job. And whether it takes you hours or minutes to create your feedback, this time is not paid. This is why teachers use FeedbackPanda – to reduce the amount of time spent on feedback to minutes.
Magic Ears feedback consists of three parts.
- A brief summary on class
- Teacher’s feedback to student (Must be at least three sentences. Positive words are highly recommended.)
- What the student should work on in regards to pronunciation (specific words to practice saying before the next class)
The summary section is multiple choice, so you can simply select whichever options apply to your student and that particular course. However, the second part, the student feedback, is a required open text field that teachers must fill out with unique, positive, and meaningful feedback. It is highly encouraged that teachers do not repeat the same feedback to students, which can be extremely difficult when you have a full course load. With hundreds of templates to choose from on FeedbackPanda, you can easily avoid repeating yourself and ensure you always have thorough, constructive feedback to provide your students.
Once you customize your feedback in FeedbackPanda, all you have to do is copy and paste it into your teaching portal. The third part of Magic Ears feedback focuses on what can be improved in terms of pronunciation. This is essentially your student’s homework. All three fields must be filled out before you are allowed to submit your evaluation.
